LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Limitation of liability
This website has been created and is updated with the utmost care. However, Grass does not accept any liability for the correctness, completeness and currency of the contents provided. Users making use of the available content do so at their own risk. We reserve the right to change, update or close our website at any time without prior notice.
This website contains links to other websites by third parties. The liability for those internet pages lies with the respective operators of the sites. Grass has no influence on the design and contents of those linked pages. Therefore Grass explicitly distances itself from any illegal contents or contents of those pages that are contra bonos mores. Links to these pages are only there for information purposes and we are not responsible for their content. The liability for any illegal, erroneous or incomplete contents as well as for defects lies exclusively with the operator of the linked page.
The use of our internet site does not constitute a contractual relationship of any kind between the user and Grass. The information on this website is of a general nature and is only intended to present our products and services to interested users of the internet. We do not accept any responsibility for decisions taken by users on the basis of the said information. The Grass website cannot replace individual advice for each individual case.
If, in spite of the foregoing notes, the use of the website leads to a contractual relationship, the following limitation of liability applies: Grass will be liable in case of intent and gross negligence as well as for breaching an essential contractual obligation (cardinal obligation). The onus of proof of intent and gross negligence is with the user. Should Grass or its legal representatives or vicarious agents act with slight negligence in breaching a cardinal duty, the resulting liability is limited to the damage foreseeable for this type of contract at the time of conclusion. Grass will not be liable in case of slightly negligent breaches to secondary obligations that are not cardinal obligations. Liability for damage such as loss of life and injury to body and health remains unaffected.
2. Copyright
All contents and objects published on the Grass website, including all parts thereof, such as texts and pictures, are protected by copyright. Any type of use (e.g. reproduction, editing, translating, processing or storing of contents in databases or other electronic media) outside the Austrian copyright is only permitted with prior consent in writing. It is not permitted to pass on the contents to a third party in consideration of payment. We agree to links to the Grass website. Representation in external frames is only permitted with express permission to do so.
The Corporate S font family is an inherent part of GRASS corporate design and its use is mandatory for the application of GRASS corporate design and all associated templates. The use of this font family is subject to licence agreement and may only be used by GRASS itself within the scope of the acquired licences. Any use of the font family or individual fonts by third parties without prior acquisition of a licence constitutes an infringement of the licence agreement and can lead to the imposition of high penalties by the licensor.
A licence can be obtained online at www.urwpp.de from the licensor URW++:

3. Data protection
The protection of your personal data is our top priority at Grass. This principle applies to our website www.grass.eu as well as generally to our customer and business relationships.
As a general principle, most products and services on our website are intended for anonymous use. This means that when you access our pages on the Internet, no personal records of your visit will be created, only anonymous data will be stored. Anonymous data are data that do not allow any conclusion regarding your personal details. The evaluation of these anonymous data is used, for example, to analyse how often a certain page was visited so that we can make our offering more user-friendly and adapt it to the wishes and needs of users.
Personal data contain information that makes it possible to identify a person (e.g. name, address and telephone number). Where you enter personal data on our website, these will be used exclusively to the extent that you have authorised their use and only for the purpose indicated on the respective page (e.g. request for documents, job applications). It is possible for you to revoke your authorisation at any time. We will not pass on any personal data to third parties.
Where it is necessary to register your personal data we treat these with strict confidence and use them only with your consent in accordance with the Austrian law for data protection in its current version at the time.
The execution of some functions of our Internet offering requires that data are stored in cookies. Cookies are small quantities of data that are saved on your computer by the operator of a website. As a matter of principle, the Grass website (www.grass.eu) uses only temporary cookies which will be deleted automatically when the browser is closed. They only contain an identification number (session ID), which makes it possible for the server to allocate successive enquiries of the browser to the same user. Temporary cookies are used by many servers; they do not present a security risk.
You have a choice whether or not to allow these cookies. By changing your browser settings (usually under 'Tools', 'Internet Options') you can choose to accept all cookies, to be informed when cookies are used or to refuse all cookies. If you decide not to accept our cookies, it is possible that you will not be able to use some of the services offered on our website.
As a rule, information transmitted via the internet is not encrypted. For this reason, Grass points out expressly that it is not possible to consistently protect data transfer via the internet (e.g. email) from access by third parties.
4. Applicable law
Only Austrian law shall apply.
